About Vivian
Vivian Leung is an American television broadcaster, multimedia journalist and multi-platform producer based in New Jersey, USA. Vivian is fluent in English, Mandarin-Chinese and Cantonese-Chinese.
She attended Boston University, majoring in journalism with a psychology minor. Prior to joining FOX News Channel in 2019, Vivian was a Line Producer at MSNBC-NBC News where she produced 15 shows and helped launch two news programs. During her time at NBCUniversal, she was also an East Coast Co-Hub Lead for the company’s employee resource group for Asian Americans APA@NBCUniversal . Vivian was also an Associate Producer for “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo” on the FOX Business Network, a graduate of FOX News Channel’s 2016 Fox News Apprentice, and Overnight Coordinator for FOX’s affiliate news service FOX NewsEdge.
Currently, Vivian is a Senior Producer for “America Reports with John Roberts and Sandra Smith.” She’s also a member of the Asian American Journalists Association, and a former member of Jersey Access Group’s Production committee.
In addition to broadcast news, Vivian is passionate about raising awareness of domestic violence. She is certified by the state of New Jersey as a domestic violence victim advocate, and volunteers as a legal advocate at Women Aware.

Vivian studied abroad and worked in London, where she published her first multimedia report “Women Need More Say In Droughts—OFFICIALS” for Thomson Reuters Foundation during the summer of 2011.
Prior to working for Thomson Reuter’s Foundation as a Climate Change multimedia intern-reporter, Vivian covered the European sovereign-debt crisis and News Of The World phone-hacking scandal at CNBC Europe, where she facilitated in producing the live-output of “Worldwide Exchange” syncing CNBC’s European, Asian and American bureaus.
In addition, Vivian generated live-to-tape on-air graphics, booked guests, analyzed financial institutions’ economic forecasts, built daily rundowns, distributed news updates, cut videos for packages and monitored the teleprompter for the in-house production of “European Closing Bell.”
During Vivian’s time at Boston University’s College of Communication, she was the host and producer of her own morning-drive radio show, WTBU’s Stylophonic, on 89.3FM/640AM WTBU: The Beat of Boston University. She had been on-air for a year before interning for local Boston television stations, WHDH-7 (NBC) and WCVB-5 (ABC).
While interning with NBC’s Boston-affiliate’s political unit, Vivian developed an interest in politics and completed an internship with a Massachusetts State Representative on Beacon Hill during her junior year at Boston University.
Vivian was a backpack journalist, covering Boston’s Super Tuesday Exit Polls results for The Boston University News Service’s Campaign 2012 special news broadcast.
